The 23rd Annual Duel in the Desert from the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway returns with sanctioning from IMCA – the International Motor Contest Association in 2020. This will mark the 22nd year that the Duel in the Desert is sanctioned by the largest dirt track sanctioning body in the United States.
IMCA Modifieds, Northern Sportmods, and Stock Cars will take to the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway November 10-14, 2020. The expanded schedule includes a Tuesday practice session with racing to commence Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Event format and purse will be released at a later time.
“The Duel in the Desert is an annual crown jewel for IMCA racers,” said IMCA President Brett Root. “We are excited about the return of stock cars and the expanded schedule. IMCA will do whatever we can to support the Duel in the Desert as it grows with new leadership.”
IMCA staff will conduct technical inspection and assist in all race operations, as has been standard for many years at the Duel in the Desert.
